1. Open a browser on your computer connected to the local network.

3. If it’s the first time a user accessing the web menu of an Amped router, the Setup Wizard of the router appears on your screen.
4. In case, the web menu doesn’t open, you can also type the LAN IP address of an Amped router on the web address of a browser. The LAN IP address of an Amped router is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
5. Hit the enter button and the Basic setup Wizard appears on your screen.
6. Now, if a user manually wants to configure his Amped router he can choose to skip the Setup Wizard. If a user skips the setup wizard, he has to identify the type of Internet connection into the router.
7. Double-check that the antennas of your router are properly attached to your router or not.
8. Click on the Next tab to continue.
9. The wizard will try to identify the Internet settings of your router. Be patient and wait for some time while the wizard is identifying your internet settings. The wizard will notify you when the Internet connection will be successful. You will notice a green mark on the notifying window.
10. Tap the Next tab to continue.
11. In the next step, you need to personalize your Wi-Fi settings by assigning a separate Network Name and Wi-Fi password to each of the frequency bands of your Amped router.
12. You also can assign a Security type to your wireless network for preventing unauthorized users to access your network.
13. Click on the Next tab to save the settings.
14. At last, you need to assign the login password to your Amped router that you will apply on the Amped router login window.
15. When you are done applying all the settings, click on the Apply button to save the settings you configured.

Note: As soon as the setup process is done, the countdown will begin on your screen after which the router will reboot. The reboot process may take around 2 minutes. If the countdown doesn’t start, you can manually refresh the page and check that the countdown begins or not. After the reboot process, go to the browser open a fresh web page and check that you are able to access the Internet or not. Make sure that no other devices are connected to your network when you check the Internet connection.
